Conscensia’s software developer Taras Romanyk gives presentation at ITNONSTOP
13. June 2016
Our talented software developers are happy to share their knowledge and contribute to current debates. Our .Net Technical Lead in Ukraine, Taras, Romanyk, gave a 45-minute presentation at the #ITNONSTOP event in Lviv in Ukraine. ITNONSTOP arranges conferences with debates on the recent .NET trends.
During Taras’ presentation “Hack your site before someone else does it” he spoke about the following topics; developer vs hacker, OWASP top 10 and means of verification, all mixed with practical experience and real cases.
Regularly, Taras visits local universities and gives lectures to the students. In April, he spoke about the necessity to study algorithms and the practical usage of algorithms to students at Institute of Computer Science and Information Technology at Lviv Polytechnic National University. He also gave the following advice:
”A person who understand what he does, set the trend, and the majority follows the trend. Many programmers follow these rules, but they do not know why; they simply use somebody else’s advice,” he says. Taras described a talented programmer as: “A person who understands what he is doing and why he is doing it, and he can solve complex problems which others cannot.” He adds, “If you see that something is done badly, make sure that your new approach can fix the situation before using it.”
