Conference on March 3rd 2016 about offshore software development - a path to growth and innovation?
3. February 2016
We have a problem in Denmark! The Danish universities do not recruit and educate sufficient IT candidates. The IT industry is lacking 1000 candidates today and the forecast is not encouraging – we will need 3000 candidates in 2020. At the same time, attracting foreign workers to Denmark is difficult. We need innovation and we need growth. What do we do?

The Danish IT Industry Association (ITB) is arranging a conference with Conscensia as a participating partner, which focuses on offshore software development. The conference will take place at
Bernstorff Slot, Jægersborg Allé 93, 2820 Gentofte, Denmark
Thursday March 3rd 2016, at 13:00 – 17:30
Both small and large businesses are beginning to discover the many advantages of establishing one or more software development teams abroad, which give them access to an enormous pool of highly skilled resources, so they can accomplish their goals. Off- and/or nearshore software development is also a supplement that enables businesses to launch their ideas and products faster and cheaper to their markets.
The program entails presentations from experts and businesses that have experiences – good or bad – in collaborations entailing a software development team abroad. Our partner Knowit Decision Danmark will share their experiences on software development in Ukraine. ITB will end the conference with a panel debate, which focuses on the lack of IT resources in Denmark – how do we solve it?
During the breaks there will be plenty of opportunities to speak to Conscensia and other suppliers, who have many years of experience on off- and nearshore software development and how to establish partnerships abroad.
